Doraemon the Movie 2017: Nobita’s Great in the Antarctic Kachi Kochi. Atsushi Takahashi directed and wrote the Japanese animated science-fiction film Antarctic Kachi Kochi, which was produced by Shin-Ei Animation.

It is the 37th film in the Doraemon film series. Takahashi worked as an assistant director on Hayao Miyazaki’s Oscar-winning film Spirited Away. It is the 37th installment in the Doraemon movie franchise and was released in Japan on March 4, 2017. On March 2, 2017, a video game based on the film was launched in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS. The film follows Doraemon and his friends on an exciting journey to the South Pole.

Carla loses her gold ring 100,000 years ago, and the film begins. On the other hand, Doraemon sends Nobita and his buddies to a giant iceberg drifting in the South Pacific, unable to endure summer’s heat.

While creating an amusement park with the secret gadget “Ice-Working Iron”, Nobita finds a mysterious golden ring in the ice and he asks Doraemon to search for how old the golden ring is.

Doraemon speaks to Nobita and his friends that the ring was buried in Antarctica 100,000 years ago and that Antarctica was not found until 1773. Doraemon and his friends change their costumes to winter clothes and take Anywhere Door to travel to Antarctica in search of its owner.

They use a bag to melt a blue elephant-like structure called Mosuke that was frozen in mice [clarification needed].

After overcoming many risks they discover the ruins of a huge city buried under the ice and then journey back in time to meet Carla and Professor Hyakkoi, who have connections to the mysterious ring, and finally meet them as well as Carla’s yellow elephant Yuka-tan, who looks similar to Mosuke; however, the group must struggle for survival as Doraemon risks to bring the Earth into another ice age.

Nobita, Shizuka, Suneo, Gian, Carla, Mosuke, Doraemon, and Yuka-tan resolve to travel 100,000 years later to survive when everything begins to freeze. Even yet, when Doraemon and Yuka-tan arrive in the future, they are separated from the rest of the group.
