Werewolf Cream

In Season 1 Episode 21 of Doraemon, titled “Werewolf Cream”, Noby’s mother reads his essay about “Scary Things”. In the essay, Noby mentions a man who turned into a werewolf on a television program, which his mother finds boring.

Noby’s Werewolf Adventure

• The Essay: Noby’s mother becomes angry when he writes about another scarier thing – her angry look.
• The Werewolf Cream: Frightened, Noby tells Doraemon about the essay. Doraemon takes out the Werewolf Cream gadget to compare which is scarier. He applies the cream on himself and turns into a werewolf upon seeing his own face (since his face is round), and chases Noby around the house.
• The Misadventure: Noby is shocked to find his mother accidentally applying the Werewolf Cream and going out of the house. Doraemon catches up with her, but almost turns her into a werewolf when she sees his round face. Doraemon encounters many round objects and prevents his mother from seeing them to prevent her from turning into a werewolf.
• The Consequences: When they finally reach his mother’s friend’s house, the sight of the round lamps turns his mother into a werewolf. Doraemon hides her in a bush for a while. Later, his mother’s friend faints when his mother turns into a werewolf after seeing the round light bulb and they rush her to the hospital.
• The Robber: When his mother and Doraemon return home at night, they run into a robber with a flashlight demanding for money. His mother scares him away when she sees that the flashlight is round and is turned into a werewolf.
• The Revelation: His mother is curious why everyone is scared away by her beautiful face. She looks at herself in the mirror back home and is frightened when her face suddenly turns into a werewolf’s and faints.

This episode highlights the unexpected consequences of using Doraemon’s gadgets and the humorous situations that arise from them.
