Gian, Suneo, and Shizuka are sceptical about Nobita’s claim that dinosaurs still exist. He seeks Doraemon’s assistance but is eventually persuaded by Doraemon’s technology that dinosaurs are extinct. Meanwhile, he must conceal his zero-point test papers from his mother.
Gian loses control of Suneo’s remote control aeroplane while playing with it, and it crashes into a river. Suneo discovered a massive dinosaur in the river after Gian had left. Threatened, he meets Doraemon and Nobita before fleeing.
Nobita and Doraemon travel to the hill behind their school, and Doraemon uses his device Hole where to find a tunnel. Suneo sees the same dinosaur in his yard again at night, but this time he thinks he’s sick.
The following day, Nobita drives everyone to the tunnel. Suneo emerges from an exit and spots a dinosaur herd, but no one believes him. The next day, they go underground and play again, while Suneo comes with a camera and records the sinking of his jet.
Threatened, he flees into a cave, becomes disoriented, and is apprehended by a knight riding a dinosaur. Others must rush home since Gian’s and Nobita’s mother is unhappy because they left Hole in the park.
