Suneo brags to Nobita, Gian, and Shizuka about his own grounds. Nobita, frustrated, offers to show them his ranch. When Doraemon refuses to assist him, Nobita searches for a solution and discovers that Doraemon has won multiple lotteries that grant “planets,” though all of them are simply inhabitable asteroids.

When Nobita’s pals arrive, he shows them a random planet, but to his amazement, they land on a habitable and lush planet. They bring numerous toys to life with a clockwork screw and then proceed to build a toy town. Doraemon also constructs an Egg Factory, which gives birth to living toys via toy eggs, as well as a Photocopy Mirror. They find a gleaming substance inside a crater while taking satellite photos.

Nobita and his buddies set out to investigate the crater, but are thwarted by a storm that washes them up on the beach. When they return to the city, they learn that the lightning-struck Egg Factory has created toys with human-like intelligence. Meanwhile, Onigoro Kumatora, an escaped criminal, sneaks into Nobita’s house and enters the toy city. When Nobita and his pals are distracted, Onigoro steals their city plan, duplicates himself in the Egg Factory, and heads to the crater with his copies.
